Diesel Technology

In diesel technology programs you’ll generally learn to correctly test, diagnose and repair gasoline as well as diesel engines typically found in medium and heavy-duty trucks. You'll receive hands-on experience and knowledge working with truck fuel systems, truck electrical and electronic systems, drive trains, braking, steering, and suspension systems. Truck technology students gain experience diagnosing and working with the electronic engine controls and sensors typically found on these engines. In about a year, you can be qualified as an entry-level service technician in the diesel and truck technology field.
