Universal Technical Institute (UTI) has been offering career-focused training for individuals seeking technical careers in the automotive, collision repair, diesel, marine, and motorcycle industries since 1965. The Universal Technical Institute's network of schools includes the NASCAR Technical Institute, the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, and the Marine Mechanics Institute.
UTI's nine accredited nationwide campuses all offer a vast range of automotive technology certificates and diplomas. The Avondale (Phoenix), Arizona campus also grants Associate's Degrees. Students can take advantage of UTI's Custom Training Group (CTG), which has partnerships which several well-known car manufacturers (such as Audi, Jaguar, and Mercedes-Benz) to provide specialized training for future automotive technicians. Other CTG programs include the Ford FACT program at the Arizona, California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Texas campuses and the BMW FastTRACK program at the Phoenix and California campuses.
UTI offers students local job hunting assistance both while attending automotive training schools as well as post-graduation employment. The school also assists eligible students in obtaining financial aid in the form of Federal student grants and loans.
