High Performance and Power

WyoTech and Lincoln Tech® each offer training in power and high performance cars and engines. Check out WyoTech's courses in chassis fabrication and high-performance engines.

WyoTech students may add courses in chassis fabrication and high-performance engines to any of WyoTech's core programs (Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology or Collision and Refinishing Technology). Some of the specialty equipment students will use includes a flowbench and a 1600 horsepower engine dyno with nitrous capability. Similar courses are available through Lincoln Tech®.

Chassis Fabrication & High-Performance Engines offers a solid foundation in:
Specialty chassis fabrication
Frame and front suspension design
MIG and TIG welding
Frame modification and roll cage construction
Pro-street frame set-up
Rear axle set-up and suspension
Cylinder head modifications
Camshaft degreeing
Supercharging and turbocharging
Precision measuring, blueprinting and critical calculations
