At the Melrose Park, Illinois Campus of Lincoln Technical Institute is a 50,000 square foot facility, conveniently located only eight miles from Chicago's downtown district and only minutes from O'Hare Airport. Lincoln Tech's modern auto shop has 14 equipped bays and nine “drive-in” classrooms to provide the necessary hands-on training required for industry employment. Instructors are ASE Certified in the courses they teach. This campus also boasts an Auto Web Tech Lab with 30 computers to enable students to learn the curriculum prevalent in the high-technology automotive industry. The Electronic Systems Technician program makes use of a “stick house”—a multi-story, in-house training structure which allows students the opportunity for hands-on training in a real-life environment. Lincoln Technical Institute has also developed strong relationships and established several programs with local employers in order to help its students succeed.
